1959 Mercedes Benz 220S Sedan

A very nice example of an early Ponton Mercedes. This three owner rust free 1959 Mercedes Benz 220S Sedan has always resided in California and Arizona. Currently wearing both of it's original California yellow plates. 125K original and documented miles. The original 2.2 liter engine is in excellent running condition with only 20K miles driven since it's documented engine rebuild. Excellent shifting original 4 speed transmission. Excellent brakes and new tires. Very attractive original color combination of Ivory with Dark Tobacco interior. Still wearing a majority of it's original paint. Fitted with cleanly installed aftermarket air conditioning system that blows ice cold. Original rare Becker Mexico radio as well as a cusom installed and hidden modern stereo system. Documentation goes back to 1959 and includes original owners manual, service book and parts manuals.
